Thank you for reading Implementing Adaptive Phased Management 2022 to 2026, which outlines the Nuclear Waste Management Organization’s (NWMO) plans and priorities for the next five years. We appreciate you taking the time to help shape the implementation of Canada’s plan for the safe, long-term management of used nuclear fuel.

The NWMO is committed to transparency. In fact, it is one of our core values. Our annual implementation plan is one way we demonstrate that commitment. These plans are living documents. They evolve and grow over time. Each year, we update our plans to reflect progress in our work, input from communities and the public, advances in science and technology, insight from Indigenous Knowledge, evolving societal values, and changes in public policy. Feedback from readers like you plays an important part in the development of our implementation plan each year.

This short survey will help us collect, analyze and track your responses, which will inform and guide our work as we continue to implement Canada’s plan. Any resulting changes or clarifications, along with a summary of responses, will be reflected in next year’s implementation plan, which will be released in the spring of 2023.

This survey, based on our five-year implementation plan, provides an opportunity for the public, including those who are new to Canada’s plan, to get involved, learn more and help shape our work.

All responses will be kept confidential.
